The Total Network Resources Process

Total Network Resources has built the referral process to be simple and efficient for our insurance adjusters and nurse case managers. The TNR process ensures that your referral is handled from beginning to end, and that our referral partners are always up to date on where their patient is in the process.

We provide a personal, accountable, highly competent, and responsive referral service that includes MRI, PT, OT and DME.

TNR’s continuously expanding nationwide network taken in combination with our unparalleled dedication to personal care, relationships and service are what allow us to help our referral partners achieve greater efficiency and profitability.

  1. The Insurance Adjuster or Nurse Case Manager Sends Total Network Resources (TNR) a Referral (Script)
  2. We (TNR) Schedule the Patient within 24 hours
  3. Patient Gets Service (Diagnostics, Physical Therapy / Occupational Therapy OR Durable Medical Equipment)
  4. We Follow Up with Providers to Get Results
  5. We Send the Results to the Insurance Adjuster or Nurse Case Manager AND to the Doctor

Included in TNR’s Unique Process

  1. TNR performs all of work regarding authorizations, scheduling and follow up.
  2. Same day scheduling for your referred patients. We work with your patients in an effort to schedule them outside their work hours whenever possible, at facilities that are convenient for them in every way possible, be it location, language, hours, or how the facility itself can accommodate your patients’ special needs.
  3. TNR provides status updates for our referral partners as well as doctors’ offices throughout the process with all results of prescribed testing or therapy.
  4. TNR includes Diagnostic age of injury reports upon request at no additional cost.
  5. TNR contracts only with ACR Accredited Facilities and Radiologists so that patients being referred through our network are guaranteed the best medical care, greatly reducing the need for repeat studies.
  6. TNR locates previous studies to be used as a comparison to help determine the age of injury.
  7. TNR calls daily for reports and communicates with the doctor’s office for follow up appointments.
  8. TNR does follow up with patients to confirm the success of their appointment and to find out how their experience was with the facility. We use this as feedback to help rate the facility.

Additionally,

  1. Physician requests for specific facilities are honored, reducing the need for repeat studies.
  2. TNR screens your diagnostic patients before we schedule, screening for issues such as claustrophobia. Our schedulers educate patients about the differences in diagnostic machines, and which machine will get them the best possible images.
  3. Once a report is received it is sent to the adjuster and referring doctor. We require reports within 24 hours and that the referring doctor receives a CD or films whichever is preferred.
